Description: This beautiful 1950’s sweater is a rare find. The damage is tragic. There are holes throughout the body. My plan for this was to remove the collar, beaded details and sleeves and have a new bodice knit. I don’t have time for this project so putting this out there for someone to save. The sleeves are so detailed , open lattice weave lace and pearls. No damage on the black knit part. All the damage is on the ivory part of the body. Knit must have wool in it although it is not itchy. I can just picture how amazing Helft’s store at the Beverly Hills Hotel was in this era. Pure glamour!!! Shown on a size small dress form, size 4/6, bust 36 inches. Fits well. Pit to pit measurement 16 inches, has stretch Length 19 inches Sleeve length 15 inches B23 Sold as is, as found.
