Description: Thorens TD 160 in excellent working condition. It was serviced by Vinyl Nirvana a few years ago (suspension adjusted, motor "support" and lubrication, new belt, polishing of platter, new RCA connectors [retains orig impedance-matched cable]) and I'd say it has about 50 hrs of listening on it since then, as I switched to an automatic TT. Cart is a Stanton 680/681 with an LP Gear replacement stylus (Code: STNS681EEES, $135 new). Plinth is in lovely condition. The lid has no cracks or major scratches beside the usual scuffing on top from the LP sleeves that were no doubt resting on top. Includes a $20 cork mat as that is actually better sounding than the original rubber. Has orig aluminum 45 adaptor. IN-PERSON PICKUP IN WESTERN MASS OR SOMEWHERE IN NEW ENGLAND PREFERRED! But I will ship with platter ring, stylus, and headshell removed; and suspension system and tone arm immobilized. big box w/ plenty of bubble, of course.
