Description: 4 + yards of wonderful vintage crisp cotton printed in a Mexican siesta theme comprised of a windowpane pattern made up of what look like melons, fruit, or cactus. The four different squares that make up the design are comprised of a sleeping Pancho figure with a sombrero leaning against a cactus, a pottery group comprised of an oil jar and a lower pot, a mule or donkey with baskets of flowers on his back, and a hacienda with palm tree. Unusual combination of colors including lime green, tomato red, navy blue, medium blue, and turquoise on an off white ground. Nice crisp cotton. 36 inches wide from selvedge to selvedge. Estimated age is 1930's or 1940's. Great for a kitchen curtain or Hawaiian style shirt. Perfect for a Monterey style interior or other Southwest, Early California Mission style home.
