You can read "MICKEY MOUSE" on the handle. I am not an expert. From the research that I have done on the internet, it says that the spoon was produced in the 1930's. The IS mark stands for International Silver which is the parent company of Rogers Brothers. I do not think the spoon is real silver. I see some people listing these spoons as silver plate.
