This 102 foot commercial tugboat was converted into a Navy net tender in Key West, FL ,was acquired in 1941 and commissioned on June 9 1941. She was ordered to Hawaii and Pearl Harbor and was present during the enemy attack on the Pearl Harbor fleet on 7 December 1941. After the war, she was taken out of service in 1946.
