The laminated cover is in good shape with no scratches or tears; There is no fraying along the edges: there is one tiny bent corner, and minimal wear on the foot of the spine from shelf rubbing. There is no crease along the spine; the spine binding is tight, no loose pages, and in good shape (please see pictures as they are part of the description). Overall in VERY GOOD condition.This is the respected study of the social history of the Scotch-Irish people, written by Leyburn in 1962, but in this current 1989 printing-it never went out of print. Very useful and still relevant, this study covers the origins, culture, history, and their migrations to America. Well worth reading, especially if you are of Scotch- Irish descent.
