These are part of a series of Nintendo lathe-cut vinyl records and are awesome! The record jacket resembles the classic press your controller screen and the back has a tracklist. Lathe-cut records are unique in that they are cut one by one and in real-time. This gives each record its own individual character. The quality of a lathe-cut is "medium-fi". They play with a low noise floor still, but will sit in a tighter frequency range. Luckily, you don't lose much when it comes to the sonic character of Nintendo soundtracks! Get your very own 90's nostalgic timepiece to really add some beautiful depth to your record collection. Please note: 12” Lathe Cut records don’t always play well towards the very outer edge on cheap turntables. Crosley/Victrola don't work well because of the 7" platters. Audio Technica LP60 can sometimes struggle on the very outer edge because the platter is wobbly and there is no adjustable counterweight for the tonearm, but otherwise typically plays fine on them with the right touch. For best results, having an adjustable weighted tonearm between 1.5-3 grams and anti-skating between 1-2 will work fine. Included are read me cards with each record on how to properly take care and play! I test every record before sending out to ensure proper playback and quality.
