The Big Game Animals of North America-O'Connor & Goodwin-1961-Color B&W Illustrs

Description: Offered is the vintage book "The Big Game Animals of North America", written by Jack O'Connor and George G. Goodwin and published by Outdoor Life/E.P. Dutton in New York. This book, covering 20 different animals (see photo #4 for contents) has a 1961 copyright date and appears to be a first edition. There are many full color paintings and black and white drawings by Douglas Allen, with additional illustrations by Alexander Seidel. The book is approx. 13" x 10 1/2" and contains 264 pages, including the index. It is in good condition. The white hard cloth cover has only light wear but has browned considerably, especially on the back, where there is a lot of blotchiness. The gold deer on the front is still partially shiny, while the words on the front and spine are still mostly visible. There is no cracking inside either the front or back cover. The white endpapers have yellowed and have some blotchiness, more so in the back than the front. I see no missing or torn pages and all are well-attached to the binding. They have yellowed but are otherwise mostly clean, with occasional spotting. I see no writing in the book. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
