They come from a card of buttons that were manufactured For the Haute Couture Houses in the early 1900’s. I have sewn them to a trade card I reproduced from the same era. I purchased the buttons from a family member of the original business owners in Europe that had them in storage since WW11. These are wonderful pieces of history that can only add to your crafting projects. These buttons have been stored for more than 70 years so time has stood still for them and they are in new condition. These beautiful glass gems would add a touch of history and beauty to any project whether it is used for sewing or jewelry. They really are fantastic. The painted glass are not waterproof.
