Description: I am the original owner of this saddle. I bought it at Stuyvesvant Cycles in Old Chelsea Manhattan in the mid 80's and it was $100+ even then. This is the highest-end saddle San Marco made in this model. The rails (really one piece of forged magnesium) were a tech tour de force at that time. rode it for years and retired it with the intention of having it re-covered, but to be honest with myself, that won't be happening any time soon. This saddle has great mojo- a number of races were won with this on the bike. The foam padding is the same density as the day I bought it, so it will be as comfortable as ever.
