RARE design. Please read. I purchased the coat many years ago when I was younger. I worked for a designer based in New York and when I wore the coat there in winter I wasn’t cold. And so many compliments. It is an Amazing design. Thick material, very cozy. You just wrap yourself up in it! (This is a winter COAT. Not a lined jacket). Marked…Romeo Gigli. Place of origin…Italy. 40% alpaca, 40% lana, 20% mohair. Marked size…42 8. This design can accommodate a range of sizes. The coat runs VERY large. For years, I normally wore a size 14 -16. Coat fit fine. Now thinner, I could still wear it. The coat design has a huge shawl collar. Amazing look. Sometimes I wore the coat high and sometimes falling lower. The arm seams are very low. Not as high as normal. The sleeves were long on me. I always had the ends turned up on the inside so there is a crease (last photo). There are some places on the coat where the material has thinned. Two are on a sleeve (not photographing as well as I’d like) and the other on the very bottom of the coat on the back (photo 17 & 14). Please see photos for exact design, detailing and condition. The coat has been stored in a coat closet under wrap. From a Nonsmoking home. No odors. I will normally add measurements if they can be done with fairly close exactness. This design would be difficult to give measurements with exactness. It is easy to see the length by the standard door frame. 🟡Will ship with Delivery Signature Required.
