Specially engineered, accordion-folded composite media achieves superior filtration to catch and hold minute dirt and debris down to 5 microns. A typical OEM-quality oil filter removes about 72% of particles in 8 to 10 micron range With twice the surface area, twice the filtration and twice the filter life of conventional filters, the PPE Premium High-Efficiency Oil Filter is your number one choice for superior oil filter performance. PPE recognized the need for better filtration for the hard-working Allison 1000 and 2000 transmissions, so a superior filter was developed which addresses limitations of the standard "shorty filter". Inside the PPE Double-Deep Spin-On Filter is 2.72 times more filter media surface area. This increased surface area allows improved fluid flow and filtering. The PPE Double-Deep Filter actually traps particles down to 15 microns, that is half the size of what the standard spin-on filter catches. You MUST contact us within 30 days of the shipment date in order for us to accept a return. The item in which you are returning MUST be unused, uninstalled, in the original condition, and in the original packaging. To begin the return process you MUST contact us to obtain an RA number and RA form (if applicable) prior to sending the item back. Returns will be jeopardized at the customer’s expense if they are sent back without a return authorization number. All returned items are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%. Labor, installation, surcharges or any other applicable fees from the original purchase are non-refundable. If you are returning an item due to an error caused by Rudy’s Performance Parts or its business partners (i.e., damaged or defective items, incorrect part shipped, etc.), we will cover all freight charges on the replacement items. We will not be able to send out a replacement part without payment.
