This handsome timepiece is fresh from a watchmaker’s estate, and we have never seen a case like this before! Hinged covers and bezel open and snap-close crisply with no overplay. Key is for winding watch, not setting hands. Movement winds, but “feels” like the mainspring may be broken, as there is no tension when the key is turned? The balance looks good, as it moves freely when rocked gently from side-to-side. The glass crystal is loose.
