Description: This is an authentic CW Racing freestyle team banner, circa 1985 or 1986. It came into my custody in 1986 when I worked in the bicycle industry, received from a friend who worked for CW. Featuring the iconic CW logo on a glorious lavender flood, accompanied by a constellation of co-sponsors. This would look awesome in a fan cave/garage/temple of stoke, or used as display flair for old school BMX collectors as a backdrop for the right build. The details: Measures approx. 67" by 35"...silkscreened graphics on nylon material with metal rivets for hanging. The condition is decent--not pristine--but better than a lot of soft goods artifacts that survived from the early BMX days. The silkscreen has creases from being folded and stored. Some of the graphics have areas of cracking. See photos. There are no huge stains, but a few small oxidation marks from the rivets contacting the material, mostly on the back of the banner. One other thing to note: this thing has been stored in a box for 37 years...it has a musty/old PVC smell that might dissipate if this item is properly unfurled, and given a chance to air, hang out and be appreciated. The price is the price. This item is exceptionally rare, and you won't find many of these in the wild. If you are comparing this to a $30 reproduction, then you are on the wrong page.
