Description: FRESH FROM A LOCAL CINCINNATI ESTATE! OLD ANTIQUE XXX OAK WALL TELEPHONE ********************************************************************************* Description: PAT'D NOV. 26, 1901 - MARCH 19, 1907 - APRIL 14, 1908. ***READY TO RESTORE*** I looked this old oak wood phone over as best as I could and found no indication as to the maker (I assume it must have been on the schematic that was once on the inside). There are pencil notations on the back (1905 Col Hotel, 1939-1969 East Bakery, Purchased 4/22/70, this was found in Trenton, Ohio, so I assume it was either used in that town or maybe Middletown which is nearby, could still be from elsewhere). Phone does show expected aging and wear. Earpiece has some cracks and chips. Mouthpiece shows minor scuffs, etc. Old tape price tag from years ago. Phone measures approx. 9 inches x 9 inches x 6 1/2 inches. ~~ Please Keep In Mind, this piece is being sold "As-Found" and "As-Is" with No Returns. ~~ It is written that Pictures Are Worth A Thousand Words and those below will tell the story of condition better than I can.
