Micrometer set in fitted wood case, 10 pcs by NSK & Mitutoyo

Description: Micrometers-Offered in original fitted wood case is a 10 piece outside micrometer assortment. Range from 0-1"to 11-12". All are by NSK &/or Mitutoyo. Case has 12 partitions, only 10 micrometers are present, the 4-5" & 8-9" are missing. All are marked 0-.0001". Frames have some finish wear but in good clean condition. Anvils are good. All seem to adjust smoothly & freely including the ratchet stops & spindle locks. Two do have issues=a. The 9-10" by NSK spindle will move for a short distance in extended position but then thimble locks up.b. The spindle lock on the 10-11" is missing.Included are 9 setting standards from 1-11", all have the heat insulated handles & marked Japan Micrometer, NSK. Case has partitions for 11 , the 4 & 10"' are missing. Wood case measures 20 1/4 x 14 x 10 3/4" deep. Looks to be made of mahogany with box joint construction in good clean & sound condition.
