Mahler: Symphony No. 9, 2-LP set, Berlin PO/Karajan (DG, 1979)

Description: My vintage, original DG release of Karajan's first (analogue) recording of Mahler's Ninth, DG cat. no. 2707 125. The record was probably played 2-3 times (on my old Philips turntable). Plastic-lined sleeves. Box in VG/NM condition, with some yellowing of the colors over a nearly 40-year period. I have this recording now on SHM-SACD and slightly prefer it to Karajan's live, digital version released shortly afterwards. LP surfaces look excellent, though no doubt you'll want to clean them initially. (I have not cleaned the LPs and have not played the album in about 25 years- not since I bought Karajan's live version on CD.).
