Description: Paracymatoceras Texanum, one of three nautiloids found in the same area of North Texas. These nautiloids are somewhat common, but it's rare to find one with crystals inside, sliced and professionally polished as well! And 6 inches diameter is a sizable specimen. BOTH halves are included but NOT the stand. I PERSONALLY DISCOVERED EVERY AMMONITE I SELL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY NOTED. I will NOT share exact location, but for the sake of provenance I can share that this was discovered in southern Tarrant County.Cut and polished by Mercer M. Brugler of The Fossil Factory. No repairs of any sort have occurred with this ammonite. It was found in a creek setting after eroding out of the bank. STAND NOT INCLUDED.
