Obverse: Coat-of-arms of Honduras and inscription alongside rim: "REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS". Reverse: Effigy of Lempira, a chieftain of the indigenous Lencas, who waged war against Spanish occupation. Inscription "20 CENTAVOS DE LEMPIRA" indicating the face value. Mintage: 12,000,000. Technical details: Material: copper-nickel, diameter: 17.8 mms (1"=25.4 mms), thickness 1.2 mms, weight: 2.2 grams (1 gram = 0.0353 oz). Krause-Mischler (KM) #79. Condition: This circulated coin is in VF (very fine: 65) condition and it comes in protective package as seen in pictures.
