Description: This is a used Greenlee ESG55LX11 Gator Cable Cutter. This is a powerful hydraulic tool used to cut cables, bolts, ropes and other materials up to 55mm (2.16") in diameter. The previous owner of this unit cut the end-jaw in half, I had the unit professional welded back together and the jaw works as it should now. A handle by the top of the jaw is also missing, in other pictures I see of the unit there's a handle that screws in the front, but it is not needed. There's a pin that you remove to open the jaw to place it around the cable you are cutting. The tool properly powers on when the trigger is pulled, the cutting jaw advances to the end where it retracts back to it's original position. We tested it by cutting some 1.5" stranded copper cable and it had no problem cutting through it at all. There's a button on the side that can also be used to retract the cutting blade. This listing is only for the tool and battery. No other accessories or charger is included. It uses standard Makita 18v Lithium-Ion batteries so any Makita Charger such as the DCR18* series will work fine for it. The battery is used and sold as-is with no guarantees on life or longevity.
