Description: If you are after a "players" bass this is not for you. If you are after a lean mean rock n roll machine then yes!I played this on countless tours with A Place To Bury Strangers. I have 2 for sale (**other one SOLD**) and this is one of them.The body is a Japanese Fender P bass. The original neck was smashed to pieces and this a a replacement All Parts neck with a slide on 70's Fender decal. The pick up is a replacement (sounds better) Seymour Duncan 1/4 pounder. The input part off the scratch plate is custom made by me. All electronics were removed and 2 inputs were put in and wired straight to the pick ups. Volume and tone on 10. The tuners are Wilshire replacements. Brass nut. Super tough.This was built to with stand the sonic annihilation of our live shows at the time. Build to withstand a beating. Built to last! Is is set up ready to go. Could play a show with it tomorrow.There are cracks in the body and neck. See photos. I would smash and glue back together after every show. The tuners wings are also glued back in as these would be the first tings to go.I reiterate, this is not a players bass. This is built to sound good, and withstand abuse! Not look pretty.
