Description: Ensoniq EPS 16+ Plus OS version 1.00F EPROM Firmware Upgrade SET / New ROM Update Chips Included in this listing: 1 brand-new OS version 1.00F set of ROM upgrade chips for the EPS 16 Plus. This is the final firmware version issued by Ensoniq. This upgrade is compatible with both EPS 16 Plus keyboard and rack units. This ROM upgrade is not compatible with standard EPS classic units.EPS 16 Plus units with serial number 13871 and higher already have the 1.00F ROM upgrade installed from factory. Please note – A floppy boot disk will still be required in order to utilize your EPS 16 Plus. This ROM upgrade set only handles the core hardware functions of the unit. The floppy boot disk is still needed to handle the software related functions. Noteworthy details about the firmware version 1.00F upgrade: · The main purpose of the 1.00F upgrade is for with units that have the rare FLASH BANK upgrade installed. · New – Ability to save the operating system from the floppy boot disk direct to the FLASH BANK thus not requiring use of the floppy disk anymore. · Fix – Fixes a problem where the FLASH BANK memory will be showing “0 BLOCKS FREE” when it isn’t actually full. · Fix – Resolved an issue where “DISK TYPE ERROR” will flash on the screen when saving instruments to the FLASH BANK. · New - CV Pedal values on the Analog Test page now go full range from 1-127. · New – Extended the acceptable range of MOD wheel and other analog inputs.
