I had to pick my opportunities very wisely and it often involved a friend with promotion, production / band management and an expensive bottle of bourbon as a thank you. My very last show working with the band was in 2007 at Charter One Pavillion in Chicago. My very first tour working with them was on Lollapalooza in 1994, at the World Music Theater, Tinley Park, Illinois, just south of Chicago. I was fortunate enough to see them at my favorite show at the United Center in Chicago, which was an insane performance! Beastie Boys were outstanding and 'To the 5 Boroughs' is indeed one of the finest releases of their careers. In over 3 decades, not once, did I ever see a bad show.
