Description: You are bidding on an old estate gold pocket watch. It’s a bit of a mystery. Inside the case, it is inscribed “ A. Ducommun Élevé de Bréguet an Avignon. Further inscription include J J Badollet & Cie Geneve Médaille D’or. I believe the case is 18k gold and a there is a gold hallmark present is the form of a “ seated sphinx “ . I am not familiar with the mark but perhaps someone out there can enlighten us. The watch appears to function as the video shows. The front crystal was I presume broken at one point and some sort of acrylic lens was put in which hardly makes sense. There are also marking on the movement. I am not an expert on this item. Please review pictures and feel free to ask questions. Good luck.
