This is an antique wood shaft golf club that I believe is made from Hickory wood. I believe this is considered a putter or an iron. The plating on the head is peeling away and there is NO leather grip at the top.I'll have a few other wood shaft golf clubs listed in my ebay store at this time as well.I ran a google search on how to measure a golf club and there were a number of different ways. It seems that the most common way was to keep the head of the club as flat as possible at that angle and measure from back edge of the club up the shaft to the end of the grip.
