Description: Antique Pickard China “Violets In Panel” decorative plate 6th mark (1910-1912)? Absolutely gorgeous Pickard piece with Art Nouveau style design with violets, accented with lots of gilt. The main body of the plate has a very subtle pearlescent quality, almost what you might imagine a layer of finely ground pearls would look like. I tried to capture this effect with my photos. The mark seems to be the 6th Pickard mark, which would date the plate to circa 1910-1912. Signed to the right of one of the violet clusters, looks like HART. Good condition. Light wear. A few utensil marks, and some scratching to the gilt. Minor paint wear. Please refer to photos for additional condition details. 8 1/2” across. Handling cost covers additional insurance through USPS.
