Description: Antique French Louis XV Walnut Commode Chest of Drawers 18th Century A French Louis XV walnut and cherry commode, (chest of drawers) circa 1740. With graceful lines and fabulous hardware. It is 34" wide by 23" deep by 34" high. It has two short drawers over two long drawers with nice carving on the legs and apron. All walnut and cherry, with oak secondary woods. There is quite a bit of worm damage but nothing significant structurally. It is very heavy and solidly built.
