Description: Lovely antique teacup from the English company Foley China which ceased to exist after 1963. They were known for their reputation for high quality china. they now go by the name Coalport. This pattern appears to be very rare because I have looked high and low for it and cannot find any sign of it. The closest one that I saw has a light green background with similar flowers, but they are arranged in a chintz pattern. All of their patterns are lovely and this is no exception. But, this will have to be admired for being a decorative beauty and not likely to complete a set. marked bottom and trimmed in gold paint.
