Featuring fine metal tinsel that has been coiled around a cotton wrapped wire cord creating a garland perfect for a feather tree - dates early 1900s and is German in origin. Condition is good with some loss on the ends exposing the cotton cord, thinning to the garland here and there, some flattening from storage as well - cotton cord is wrapped with fine copper wire, which is original to the piece. Dainty and medium weight, color has tarnished to a burnished dark gold. Looks perfect on a feather tree, which is how I have always displayed it.
