It has a Gadrooned Rim pinched in on the ends and sides, it is in a high polish finish, and it measures 29cm long x 21.5cm wide x 4cm high. It is marked on the underside: 'Mappin Comp,y' P102, Sheffield, 77/78 Oxford Street, London. The Tureen is in exceptionally good condition, and would be suited for service on even the grandest of dinner tables.
