Description: This listing is for an 1881 NGC PR67CAM Shield Nickel. Very attractive proof example. Frosty devices overlay a golden apricot toned reflective superb gem. An issue that is usually plentiful compared to its business strike counterpart, making this the coin of choice to fill the slot of a date set. In the days prior to certification proofs and business strikes of 1880 and 1881s would be sold and collected interchangeably as their opposites.
