Description: 12-pc Poland Nieobiegowy Banknote and Coin Set/ Case. Includes 2008-1000 Zlotych. This set starts with the 1990/9-pc Polish Cities Series Nieobiegowy Banknote set. These banknotes were never put into circulation because of errors in their design. They were sent to the public as collector notes in the denominations of 1,2,5,10,20,50,100,200 and 500 Zlotych banknotes. Also included in this set is the 1990 Poland Coin Set. They are supposedly uncirculated but they come out of bags and as such may have small scuffs or blemishes so expect this this. This set includes the 1000 Zlotych note as well. This 1000 Zlotych note was printed in 2008 as a complimentary note to finish the 9-pc Nieobiegowy Polish Cities Series set. There were only 500 notes printed. There was several of the 500-1000 zlotych notes stolen and or destroyed so there is no exact known amount of surviving notes making these notes very rare and hard to find. All of these notes as well as coin set come in their own clear acrylic display case and the complete set comes in its own Vigilante Wood Display Case. Serial numbers may be different than shown. I am a long time banknote collector and have been searching for these 2008-1000 Zlotych notes for nearly 15 years so believe me when i say they are rare and very hard to find.
