Our Zombie chicks are sired from a handsome Ayam Cemani rooster crossed with several White Leghorn hens. Zombie chicks commonly have melanistic traits that make them an appealing breed. The skin, eyes, legs, crown and waddles take on a unique grey coloration while the feathering is often white with black spots making them a centerpiece in farm conversation. Weregularly hatch from our flock to ensure a healthy hatch rate. We do not ship "expressshipping" unless prior arrangements are made with us. Uponreceiving your order, we will ship as soon as our hens lay the eggs, usuallywithin a couple days. We do not stockpile eggs to ensure you get thefreshest eggs available. Occasionally, this means we may not be able toship eggs right away, but we will send you a message if we see a delay of morethan three days. We want your experience to be as positive as possible and takeas many precautions as possible on our end to ensure your satisfaction. If you do live in the Raleigh, NC area, you can feel free to reach out to usfor local pickup. Ourshipping foam is cut to precisely fit a priority USPS box. If youpurchase a different shipping option, I will prepare a box and add additionalpadding, however, it will not be as secure as in a priority postage box. It usually only saves a couple dollars atmost and the loss of an egg would be more expensive than the difference. As such, we ask that you go with PriorityPostage shipping. Ourpackaging comes in a thick foam padding specially made and proven for safeshipping of chicken eggs. We go the extra mile in our packaging to ensureyou receive fertile eggs. When possible, please arrange to pick up yourpackage from the post office. The last ride from post office to your homecan sometimes be the roughest part of the trip and picking the package up cansave this bumpy ride increasing your hatch rate. If youreceive broken or cracked eggs from USPS mishandling, please take photos immediatelyand file a claim with USPS. Every package is insured up to $100 butrequires photos as proof. It is very unlikely with how we package oureggs, but things do happen. If you do have an issue with broken eggs, pleasesend us photos as well. Although we donot offer returns, we want you to be happy and will do our best to work withyou. Due tothe nature of incubation, we do not allow for refunds on unhatched eggs. We take many precautions to ensure you get the freshest eggs possible in thesafest manner possible. Unfortunately, we cannot monitor incubationstandards away from our farm. We highly suggest leaving the eggs largeend up for a minimum of 12 hours after receipt in order for the air sac tosettle giving you the best possible hatch rate. We also suggest candlingthe eggs prior to placement into your incubator. Lastly, We highly recommend having yourincubator running at proper hatching temp (100.5F optimum) and humidity(50-55%) for 24 hours before placement.
