Description: 1:18 Scale 1917 REO Touring Car by Signature Models - Burgundy Ransom Eli Olds, of Oldsmobile fame, left the company he founded in 1904 to go on to start the REO Motor Car Company in 1905. The company dropped out of the automobile market in the 1930s to concentrate on its line of highway trucks. In its prime, REO was one of the top automobiles before Ford and GM started cutting into its place in the industry. Offered in 1:18 scale is the Signature Models 1917 Reo touring car in burgundy with black fenders and a black interior. The butterfly hinged hood opens on both sides to show a stout 4-cylinder engine All four doors open to a nicely detailed interior The front wheels turn with the steering wheel Real rubber tires The model measures about 9½ inches front to back (10 inches if you count the top that sticks out over the back of the car). It is new in its original box with all shipping straps in place. The box does have some shelf wear and a crinkle at the edge of the box window from improper handling.
